Come and enjoy the personal touch at Mellondale, from the warm welcome to the home cooking in a peaceful setting overlooking the shores of Loch Ewe. Mellondale is STB 4 star Guest House rated, and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. An ideal base to go walking, climbing, bird watching or just wander along our many sandy beaches that are nearby. The world famous tropical gardens at Inverewe are within easy reach, also the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve Visitor Centre and trails.
Accommodation consists of two double bedrooms and 1 twin-bedded room, all ensuite. All rooms have colour TV, clock radio, hairdryer, electric blankets, hospitality trays, fresh fruit, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and slippers.
Our lounge is comfortable furnished and has TV, CD, VCR, games and lost of books and is accessible throughout the day to our guests. The dining room overlooks Loch Ewe and we offer good home cooking, utilising the best of local produce. We also have an extensive breakfast menu. We regret that we cannot accommodate pets.

Situated near Greenstone Point on the rugged coastline of Wester Ross, `Na Fir Chlis` is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday. We enjoy lovely open views out to sea and to the north the spectacular backdrop of the Coigach Mountains, Opinan is a few minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beaches of Mellon Udrigle and is ideally situated for those who enjoy walking and bird watching.
We have two good sized bedrooms one with a king-size double and one with twin beds that can be converted to make a Super-king sized double bed. Our lounge is comfortably furnished and has a Digital TV, DVD, Video and CD Player plus lots of books on Scotland and the local area. We provide a full breakfast menu cooked to order. Evening meals feature a varied menu using, wherever possible, the best of Scottish produce. We are also happy to provide vegetarian meals.

Welcome to The Love Croft Guest House
Bed & Breakfast Accommodation in the Scottish Highlands
The Love Croft Guest house is a traditional Scottish croft house set in 27 acres of Highland countryside. The croft has been in the Love family for some 50 years but the croft house has recently been extended and refurbished to provide our guests with stylish, contemporary accommodation of the highest standard. A wireless broadband internet connection is available free in all rooms.
The Love Croft is situated on a hill in the village of Laide over looking the beautiful Gruinard Bay with views of The Summer Isles and is only 9 miles from the world famous Inverewe Gardens.
A croft is the Scottish word for a small farm and here at The Love Croft we keep a variety of animals ranging from ducks in the duck pond to rare breed Kune Kune pigs. We have our own chickens providing eggs for your breakfast and we keep a small flock of sheep.
All our rooms are ensuite and have been decorated to the highest standard, with extra large comfortable beds and high quality linen and towels. All room have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, shaving points and other facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our rooms start from £26pppn.
At the Love Croft we like to cater for our guests` individual requirements, so menus are discussed with our guests in the morning to find a menu which suits every palate and budget. Our evening meals start from as little as £12 for 2 courses.
