Come and enjoy the personal touch at Mellondale, from the warm welcome to the home cooking in a peaceful setting overlooking the shores of Loch Ewe. Mellondale is STB 4 star and AA 4 Red Diamond Guest House rated, and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery. An ideal base to go walking, climbing, bird watching or just wander along our many sandy beaches that are nearby. The world famous tropical gardens at Inverewe are within easy reach, also the Beinn Eighe Nature Reserve Visitor Centre and trails. Accommodation consists of two double bedrooms and 1 twin-bedded room, all ensuite. All rooms have colour TV, clock radio, hairdryer, electric blankets, hospitality trays, fresh fruit, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. There is also a Jacuzzi available if required. Our lounge is comfortable furnished and has TV, CD, VCR, games and lost of books and is accessible throughout the day to our guests. The dining room overlooks Loch Ewe and we offer good home cooking, utilising the best of local produce. We also have an extensive breakfast menu. We regret that we cannot accommodate pets.

Relax and enjoy tea and scones on arrival in our cosy guest lounge, delicious home cooked breakfasts and four course dinners, using local and regional produce wherever possible. We have three individually furnished bedrooms, one superking double/twin with en-suite shower and its own sitting area looking out onto the garden and hills beyond, one standard double with en-suite bath and shower, and one standard double with a beautiful view of Gruinard Bay and private shower room. All are well equipped with colour TV, hospitality tray, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, radio alarm and electric blankets. Afternoon teas also available. A photographer’s paradise, the local area boasts stunning mountain and coastal scenery, sandy beaches, waterfalls, caves, walks to suit all tastes and abilities, wildlife, golf, horse riding, fishing, boat trips and the lovely NTS Inverewe Gardens (a 12 minute car ride away).
