Comfortable upstairs flat in the traditional crofting village of South Erradale.
The flat can sleep up to 4 people, in one double room and one room with 2 single beds. There is metered electricity for heating, cooking and electric shower. Hot water is supplied along with bedding, bed linen, towels, soap, toilet rolls and cleaning products. Private entrance.
Magnificent views - to the east are the Torridon Mountains and to the west across the Minch are the Isle of Skye and the Outer Hebrides. The area provides ample opportunity for hill walking, fishing, bird watching and water sports, and the sandy beaches of Opinan and Red Point are within easy reach.
The flat is situated 10 miles away from the village of Gairloch, along a very picturesque road. Gairloch provides most local amenities including grocery shops, post offices, a bank, cafes, restaurants, bars, hairdresser, gift shops, a leisure centre, an award-winning museum and a 9-hole golf course.
Next door to our flat is Glendale House, which has a lounge bar open to non-residents, and 4 miles away is the Badachro Inn, which provides excellent meals in a shorefront setting.

The flat is set in half an acre of newly planted woodland with wonderful views across Badachro Bay.
Badachro is a small hamlet on the south side of Gairloch in Wester Ross (seventy miles west of Inverness). The area is one of outstanding natural beauty, combining sea and mountains. With several Munros (mountains over 3000ft) within easy reach, it is a paradise for walkers. Loch, river, and sea fishing are all available. There is also a well maintained and interesting 9-hole golf course, situated above one of several stunning beaches.
Ten miles to the north is one of the area’s most popular attractions, Inverewe Gardens (ru nby the National Trust for Scotland). Warmth from the Gulf Stream allows the palm trees and other exotic plants to grow here alongside pine trees and rhododendrons.
The village of Strath, on the north side of the loch, has a range of facilities including Post Office, butcher, gift shop, coffee shops, general store, Bank of Scotland, and an interesting local history museum.

Ceomara Highland Cottages, Badachro
Ceomara Highland Cottages - two cosy self-catering cottages each sleeping 2-4.
The cottages are located in an enviable position on Badachro Bay, both have truly exceptional views across the sheltered bay to the Torridon mountains in the distance. Seals, herons and many wading birds can be watched from this idyllic, tranquil location. Within a few miles are many beautiful beaches, low and high level walks and the shops and amenities at Gairloch. A short walk around the bay takes you to the Badachro Inn, serving good food and also Raptures, a small, excellent restaurant.
Accommodation These stylish, peaceful and cosy cottages are semi-detached and a conversion from an original steading. They are located within the grounds of the owners` home, Ceomara (Gaelic for `sea mist`). Each cottage can sleep 2-4 adults in 1 double and 1 small twin bedded room, but are ideal for a couple. The comfortable living area and well-equipped kitchen are open plan with wonderful views, which can be enjoyed from the deep recessed window seating. There is a flat screen TV, DVD and CD player/tuner. In front of the cottages, the patio with picnic table enjoys the same far-reaching views. The kitchen has a good range of cooking equipment, also new electric cooker, fridge (with small freezer compartment), washer, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is a shower room with electric shower, basin, WC and shaver point.
Ceomara Highland Cottages are easily accessed along a quiet, secluded road and have excellent level parking. We welcome walkers, climbers and cyclists and also allow one small, well-behaved dog (by prior arrangement) in cottage no. 2. We regret smokers are not permitted in either cottage and we do not accept children of any age.
Electricity, including all heating is included in the spring/summer tariffs, as is all linen (with the exception of personal towels). A heating supplement applies to autumn/winter bookings. A welcome pack is provided.
Ceomara Highland Cottages are perfectly placed to explore this magical area of Wester Ross.

A delightful setting, lovely garden and superb views overlooking the sea and Badachro village. Six miles from amenities at Gairloch. Living/dining room, twin bedroom, shower room, and kitchen. Sleeps 2.
Ardsheen is a modern house situated on the high ground behind Badachro village with excellent views of Badachro Bay and surrounding hills. We are a short walk from the seashore and Badachro Inn, a traditional wood-beamed country pub serving delicious food. A superb location for days out and further afield.
We are letting the very attractive upper flat. It is competely private and self-contained with its own entrance, good off-road parking and a lovely garden. In there garden there are two sitting out areas. The apartment comprises a spacious sitting/dining room with a comfortable sofa, two lounge chairs, dining table with six chairs, and TV. There is a bright and cheery twin bedroom. A well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, microwave and fridge. A shower room with WC, wash basin, shaver point and heated towel rail. A utility room with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. We supply all bed linen, towels, household cleaning materials, inlcuding vacuum cleaner, electric iron and ironing board. Pets are very welcome.
There is a sizeable jetty just by the Inn from which small boats and canoes can be launched and where bigger boats can come alongside at most states of the tide. Hill walking and climbing enthusiasts can find endless opportunities around here. River and loch fishing is easily available (permits obtained locally).
Amenities are good. There is a post office, bank with cash machine and several excellent shops in Gairloch itself, five or six miles away. At Gairloch there is also a good lending library with internet access, a Heritage Centre and a Leisure Centre. The famous National Trust garden at Inverewe, Poolewe, is just 12 miles away and well worth a visit.

Tir Aluinn apartment provides contemporary, detached accommodation situated in the tranquil crofting township of North Erradale, near Gairloch, with views over the Minch to the Isle of Skye and the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, as well as panoramic views of the surrounding area, and only a short stroll to the local shingle beach.
Accommodation The apartment was completed in 2007 and has been designed to give a clean, contemporary feel with open plan living, solid pine floors and stylish furnishings.
The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with ample storage units in solid pine and built-in stainless steel oven, hob and cooker hood, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dining suite.
The lounge area comprises a leather sofa, coffee table, lamp table with lamp, radio and CD player, TV and DVD player, cupboard with ironing facilities and clothes airer. External drying facilities are also provided.
There is one fully fitted double bedroom.
The shower room has a shower cubicle with power shower, wash hand basin, toilet and razor point.
