Digital Photography Project
We launched this exciting new project in September 2008 with the aim of tackling a range of mental health issues through the use of digital photography. We employ a part-time Project Worker to work alongside people with mental health illnesses in order to teach them new skills that will help them get back into vocational training and work. The project worker primarily teaches digital photography skills at a one to one or small group level. As a result of these sessions participants get out into the Wester Ross countryside, learn new skills and generally build their confidence and improve their physical and mental well-being. The work is a short-term pilot project and if successful may become a longer term project in the future
