Staff and VolunteersGALE is a membership organisation. This means that the members own and manage GALE and all its projects and services. Membership is open to any individual, business or organisation that wishes to join and is supportive of the work of GALE. Every year the members elect a board of volunteer Directors to manage GALE. These directors offer a range of skills and experience to GALE free of charge and are responsible for the ongoing management and direction of the Company. The current Board of Directors is made up of the following members Angela Urquhart Chair Roseanne Urquhart Company Secretary Roy MacIntyre Frank Buckley Chris Conniff The current Board of Directors have chosen to employ a team of staff to deliver individual projects and manage the day to day operation of GALE. The following staff are currently employed Janet Miles General Manager Leah Ball Tourist Information Officer Jane Strugnell Projects Manager Ann Fox Poolewe and Aultbea Public Toilet project Alex MacLeod Tourist Information Assistant John McNaught Project Worker – Wester Ross Digital Photography Project Maureen Cumming Project Worker – Gaelic in the Community |
